Entry Requirements

West Hill Park is a non-selective School; we do not have formal entrance exams but carry out informal baseline assessments during a taster visit or during the first few weeks at school. We do expect a reasonable amount of spoken and basic written English as a minimum requirement.

School visits

We would welcome the opportunity to show Agents what we have to offer. We advise that you either attend an Open Day or arrange an individual meeting with the Headmaster to discuss your client's particular requirements. This visit will include a tour of the School so that you can meet other members of staff, and pupils as well as seeing the School’s facilities.Taster days can be arranged prior to registration.

Procedure for registration and confirmation of a place

  1. Complete the registration form which is contained in the back of the prospectus or can be down loaded from this website and return it to admissions with the £100 registration fee.
  2. Once it has been established that a place can be offered, the parents will be asked to sign an acceptance form/parent contract. The acceptance fee £300 which acts as a refundable deposit will be due. This quite often needs to happen at the same time as the registration.
  3. A letter of confirmation will be sent to you to pass on to the parents.
  4. Non EU applicants - A CAS is applied for once we have received the required  information (see table in 'oversees tab), as well as a copy of the photo page on the pupils passport and proof that parents can pay for the fees.
  5. A fee note will be issued; fees are paid in advance and will be due on the first day of the term that your client is due to start.
  6. Non EU applicants -sometimes parents are asked to pay a years fees in advance as proof of their ability to pay this is a requirement of the Boarder Agency. In these circumstances the fee note will be issued once the confirmation fee is paid and prior to the CAS application.
  7. In the term before the pupil is due to start, a welcome pack will be sent to you which includes:
  • A Parent Handbook
  • Medical questionnaire
  • Data collection form
  • Communications guidelines
  • Age relevant permission slips
  • Invitations to various taster experiences and uniform fitting.

Continued contact

We will aim to send you the school newsletters and reports on your pupils as appropriate. We will also help with applications and finding senior school places where required.
