Our whole school Harvest Festival supports Fareham and Gosport Basics Bank pupils help to deliver the goods collected after the service.
A committee of dedicated parents arrange our annual Shop ‘til You Drop Christmas Fair, raising funds for a range of charities chosen each year. In 2009 a total of £6,000 was shared between:
* Hearing Dogs for the Deaf
* Countess Mountbatten Hospice
* The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance
Collections are held at our Christingle and Carol Service’s with the proceeds going to St. Peter’s Church, Titchfield.
Our Nursery department supports various charities including Children in Need, Comic Relief and Barnado’s through dressing up days and other fun activities.
The Pre Prep supports the Regalla Aid Project whose mission it is to “relieve the need, hardship and distress of people who live in Sri Lanka”. Through this project the Pre-Prep sponsor two children. The annual Spring Capers event – an afternoon of fun and games – raises funds for this charity.
Action Medical Research’s Touching Tiny Lives appeal is supported by the Pre Prep’s sponsored Teddy Bear’s Picnic held in July and a carol singing evening with a band from the Salvation Army helps to raise funds for them.
The Remembrance Day service collection supports the British Legion Poppy Appeal with pupils also selling poppies to parents on the days leading up to November 11th.
In 2008 West Hill Park was host to an evening of “Remembering” raising in excess of £35,000 for Help for Heroes.
