Importing Calendar Items

Importing School Calendar Items into Microsoft Outlook

Some parents may find it useful to import the school calendar into their personal calendars to keep track of upcoming events. Items can be imported and so not updated or a subscription can be set up that updates items automatically.

Depending on which version is being used the steps are outlined below.

Subscribing to a West Hill Park Calendar

Microsoft Outlook 2007

1. Copy the required link below.
2. In Outlook, on the Tools menu, click Account Settings.
3. On the Internet Calendars tab, click New.
4. Paste the Internet Web address you have copied, by pressing CTRL+V.
5. Click Add.
6. In the Folder Name box, type the name of the calendar as you want it to appear in Outlook, and then click OK.

2. In Outlook, click on Calendar
3. From the ribbon menu select Open Calendar then From Internet.
4. Paste the Internet Web address you have copied, by pressing CTRL+V.
5. Click OK.
6. Click Yes to accept.

2. Click OK to open the calendar with Outlook.
