Ofsted Inspection

Ofsted last inspected the Early Years Provision provided at our Nursery in April 2006.

The purpose of their inspection is to assure parents, the public and government, of the quality of childcare and Nursery education provided at West Hill Park Nursery. The grades for the 6 areas inspected were:

The Effectiveness Of The Provision

• Helping children to be healthy - The provision is outstanding.
• Protecting children from harm or neglect and helping them stay safe - The provision is outstanding.
• Helping children achieve well and enjoy what they do - The provision is outstanding.

Nursery Education

• The quality of the teaching and learning - The provision is outstanding.
• Helping children make a positive contribution - The provision is good.

Organisation

• The organisation is good.
