Aims of the Nursery

Our aim is to provide a consistently high standard of care and education by:

• Providing a secure and stimulating environment where children can develop as individuals at an appropriate pace
• Encouraging each child to have a positive self image, the ability to communicate confidently and show respect for others
• Providing a broad and balanced curriculum with opportunities for children to explore, devise, experiment and investigate through play
• Encouraging the interaction and involvement of families and the wider community as well as valuing the contribution made by them to the nursery
• Recognising the importance of maintaining a high calibre staff team, encouraging each staff member to develop continuously, both personally and professionally
• Continuously seeking to enhance the indoor and outdoor areas with an awareness of health and safety for adults and children.
