House System

When a child enters the School in Year 1 or above they are assigned to a House. There are three houses, Beaulieu, Hamble and Meon. Each House has a House Master. The role of these staff is to help develop and foster a spirit of team work and camaraderie amongst the members of the House. As well as taking an interest in each member of the House's academic, sporting, musical and artistic skills, the House Master's are concerned with enthusing and encouraging both the younger and older members of the House to work together as a team and support, work and care for one another. Being part of a House gives a child a sense of identity and a sense of belonging, both of which are extremely important.
